Production
      The Trang Seafood Products Public Company Limited. was established with the efforts of a group of agriculturalists,fishermen,merchants and investors in the Trang Province and investors from the central region together with a group of executives with high experience and expertise in the seafood product and cooler industry . The Company was registered on 9 March 1989with the initial registered capital of 10 million Baht. Its objective is to carry out the business of frozen seafood production for export, which will create job opportunities and economic developments to the Trang Province and the nation as a whole.
In early July 1989 The Company's factory construction was commenced. The construction took about 14 months to complete in August 1990. The Company began its operation on 10 September 1990.
On 11 August 1989. The Company increased its registered capital by 30 million Baht to become 40 million Baht in total.
On 8 September 1989. The Company was granted an investment promotion by the Board of Investment for the business of frozen marine animals and frozen ground fish meat for export, under category 6.8: cooler business.
On 22 April 1990. The Company increased its registered capital by 30 million Baht to become 70 million Baht in total.
On 10 September 1990. commenced production of primary products of frozen squids, cuttlefish and fish for export, with an initial capacity of 2,400 tons per year.
On 9 October 1990. The registered capital was increased by 30 million Baht to become 100 million Baht in total.
In March 1991. The Company extended the production to value-added products, thus increasing the capacity to 5,400 tons per year.
On 11 February 1992. The registered capital was increased by 5 million Baht to become 105 million Baht in total.
On 3 December 1992. The registered capital was increased by 20 million Baht to become 125 million Baht.
On 3 May 1993. the Company commenced construction of the 2nd factory, which took about 19 months to complete, in November 1994.
On 7 September 1993. the Company was awarded a second investment promotion certificate under category 1.8 : Food production, granting exemption of juristic income tax for 8 years, by the Board of Investment.
On 2 January 1994. the 2nd factory was operational for production of value-added products, thus increasing the capacity to 10,000 tons per year in 1995.
On 26 September 1994. the registered capital was increased by 75 million Baht, totaling 200 million Baht
On 19 May 1995. a 5,000-ton cooler building was constructed for storage of raw materials and finished products, and took about 16 months to complete, in August 1996.

 

Trang Seafood Products Public Company Limited. was established to manufacture Frozen Seafood Product, and was support by Government, Board of Investment, with Paid-Capital of 200 Million Baht.

There are 2 types of products categories
1. Primary products 30 percent
2. Value-added products 70 percent

The Company policy is to focus more on the value added products since it is our company strategy to manufacture high quality product with resonable price We also emphasize on the variety of products in order to response to market Needs, especially Japan market. We distribute our products via 2 main Channels:
1. Distribute through restaurants and supermarkets about 20 percent.
2. Distribute through Trader/Agent/Wholeseller about 80 percent.

Our main market is Japanese market and We also know that we have to depend on Janpanese economy only, in order to reduce the market risk we are also trying to expand to US and EU market.

Company consists of 5 main facilities located in the same area, which is 29 Kantang Road, Tambol Khunpring, Amphur Muang, Trang, Thailand. Annual Production Capacity 8,000 Tons, and we have more than 1500 workers. Our main Raw Materials are Cuttlefish, Squid, Fish, and Shrimp. Board Members 10 Persons and Employees more than 1,500 persons.

Core Business Characteristic : To manufacture good quality frozen seafood products for export globally by using qualified raw materials from domestic and import to serve customers and marketing around the world 2 types of Product Characteristic

There are 2 types of product characteristic
1. Primary products : This type of product is primarily produced from raw materials directly, such as, washing, Cleaning, and Trimming, and then Freezing and packing.
2. Value-added products : This type of products is manufactured from primary products in order to up its value. The process and product specification is depended on customer and market needs.
